I absolutely love this book series. I love Shara and her Blood. I have read every single one of these books as soon as they came out and devoured them in one sitting. They do get pretty bloody in and out of the bedroom and there is a lot of bedroom times. If you like reverse harem and paranormal “vampires” you will love this. This started with one book and as it grew it just became more and more of an epic series. And there are such nuances in the characters. You end up loving the good guys, hating the bad guys, and sometimes just wanting to slap the crap out of Mehen or a big ole furry bear who can’t keep his mouth shut at the wrong times. But then Daire comes in and leaves you laughing so hard. I am so glad this is in a box set. I have read and re read this setmany times that if I had them in paper form I would have worn a hole in the book Gods, monsters, vampire Queens & magic blood--yet for all that, what I am loving the most about this series of books is the warmth and underlying thread of a very positive depiction of a successful D/s household and relationships.Mind taking a quick hop back in time?I was a child before the internet age.
